Maxima

A few months after the experience in Hagimit. We again went to Island Garden City of Samal to experience another interesting place for spending the weekend with friends. We reached Maxima already past 9 in the evening, and friend are already starving since we are the ones who bring the food for them. A lot of experience happen on that night when we stayed their. Well it's not enough to just stay whole, the best experience is at night when you can see alot of different fish swimming nearby and even fed them personal. Tina, met some cool clown fish while snorkling during the night.
Maxima has a deep gulf, it's almost 30 meters deep and is good for diving for people who likes diving. For tourist who just want to swim, you need to wear a life vest to make sure that you are not going to drawn, even if you know how to swim, so rules are rule, better to follow their own rule to enjoy swimming rather than to get drawn and cannot be recovered.
They also offer you a free slide with a proper guardian, which themselves provide. They can even take a picture of you while sliding. It's a long slide, as in a very long slide like about a minute before you can reach the water, and it's really thrilling.

MT. Apo

Last few years ago when I was still in highschool, we climbed Mt. Apo the highest peak and mountain in the Philippines. I get the chance to climbed because I trained as a rescuer, didn't pass though. My parents didn't like me to do such difficult task. Anyway, we take the route from Kapatagan, Digos City way to the top with the Department of Tourism. It wasn't an open climbed instead it's objective was to clean some garbages left by the mountaineer. They hire some porter to bring their luggages and some for garbages.

When we climbed we have a lot of waters.
Trainor said: Why do you bring so much water?
DOT reply: One of your trainor (Joven) said it's the most important thing to bring.
Trainor: No, one or two litres is enough, so you can leave the rest here, it's too heavy to bring it.

So, we left some of the water. They didn't realize that there is no safe drinking water in the mountain. I think to my self, kuya Joven is right. I'm sure the DOT will feel thirsty every now and then, because they are not accustomed on traveling on foot for a long period of time. I mean it's been two days now and we still haven't reached the top and we are already out of water. At the top, we all feel exhausted and thirsty, good thing there's a small spring that can be drink so we stock a lot of water to make sure we could drink it any time.

We, stayed at the top for only a night and then before lunch we packed up and went home. But of course, during the sunrise we witness the clear blue sky and the city below. It was like we're god from above watching humans doing their things below. That is once in a lifetime experience i'll never forgot. I didn't get the chance to take some picture though.

How, I wish I can go back there and experience climbing Mt. Apo again.

Trigun: Badlands Rumble Movie

Have you guys seen this movie? This movie was shown last April, this year.
I miss watching Vash in Trigun, I really like his stunts and moves. Here are some manga scenes from new Trigun a.k.a Trigun:Maximum. Vash again is back to his hiding place for two years, after the encounter in the eight moon, which he cause a crater in the moon. The second time he made a massive destruction, some memories remain, vaguely though.

Again the characters are intact.  There is still...
Wolfwood - who is desperately searching for him, to make action that Knives made in some district.
Knives - He's devil brother who's intention is to make humans go extinct.
Meryl - The persistent insurance girl, which only goal is to make Vash pay for his deeds, but somehow develop a good relationship.

Some, chapter in the new publication is almost the same as the previous season of Trigun, that is what I observe in a few chapters I read. Well, I guess I need to read further to at least give a concrete point of view of the story. I'm getting excited to the new series of Trigun though, I hope they gonna start it soon.

Hagimit

It's a Month of February when we decided to go to Hagimit. Hagimit is a long river flowing down the Auring Village which most of our workers live nearby.Going to Hagimit is an hour travel by the sea. You can either ride in the barge or in a boat. You ride the barge when of course if you have cars, but most people in Island Garden of Samal ride the boat at Sasa to Babak then ride again in a motorcycle to go to Penaplata. From Penaplata another ride to the Auring village.
In Auring village, from the road you can see the entire village below. You can observe the cleanliness and orderly peace. There's always guarding the main gate of their village, the elder advise them to make it a routine and every villager should guard in by schedule. People at the village are very welcoming, they are proud to offer their house for us to stay in, while we enjoy swimming at the Hagimit.

From their, we walk down the river and follow its flow to where it started. As we walk, I experience the thrill of not getting wet until we reached the top. On the way to the top there's a lot of deep area in the river, which you can swim, because the current isn't strong. Most people swim their since there are already cottages, which the lot owner provided for the tourist. We went to the top to see what's in there, I thought there will be a big falls, but to my surprise it is a spring from underneath the boulder which water overflows to make a river.
As we swim, the temperature is intense cold which for sure thin people like me will really get chilled as what I experience there. My mouth are freezing, my body can't move freely when i'm out of the water, but when I stayed, my body become accustomed to the temperature and I don't feel cold anymore. Moving makes my body stay warm and prevent me from chilling.

Hagimit unlike any other river, is good for swimming and somehow safe since it's also like a pool where people can see you swimming. And you can even go to the deep part or the shallow part of the river to get wet.

Evening Delights

Picture: Newly Renovated Rizal Park, Digos City - Oct. 31, 2009

A delightful evening experience

It's never been this way before when me and my friends visit the park. I thought there's an activity going on, as I see it from the main road, but when I go to the other side where the entrance is, everything has change I say this night was a delightful evening experience.
The physical condition of the park has changed, They transfer Jose Rizal statue on the other side and replace a big fountain area which became the attraction. The lawn area was filled with pave blocks and people can now enjoy strolling.

A whole new place for family bonding

Rizal park is now a good place for family bonding, children and parents has place to enjoy. Children's playground, benches with dim lights are well-improve. Lovers, families and friends can now seat back, enjoy the picnic time and relax.

A revitalized ground of activities

Early morning sidewalks and alleys can now be a good route for jogging and biking. Teens and Adults are enjoying the morning exercise every tuesday and thursday with professional trainer.
